Pahrump Pool Fish
 
This original artwork is a part of a series of desert artworks created during my time in the Desert National WIldlife Refuge in Southern Nevada.  The Pahrump poolfish is a small fish measuring less than two inches, and though it be small it has a big story of adaptation and survival in the harsh desert environment. This little fish only exists in the springfed creek and pond of Corn Creek, a desert oasis on the outskirts of Las Vegas.
